Prize "Milena Dalmacija" awarded to Gordana Vuković

Dr. Gordana Vuković from the Environmental Physics Laboratory of the Institute of Physics Belgrade was awarded the first prize "Milena Dalmacija" for the doctoral thesis, defended at Serbian universities, which has made the most significant contribution to the field of environmental protection from October 2012 to October 2015. Gordana Vuković defended her thesis on „Biomonitoring of urban air pollution (particulate matter, trace elements and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) using mosses Sphagnum girgensohnii Russow and Hypnum cupressiforme Hedw.“ on 28 September 2015 at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Belgrade, under the supervision of Dr Mira Aničić Urošević and Dr Aleksandar Popović.
