Compact ultrafast lasers for biomedical, telecomm, and micromachining applications

Abstract:

Time-Bandwidth Products is a spin-off company from ETH Zurich commercializing SESAM (Semiconductor Saturable Absorber Mirrors) technology that enabled stable, self-starting, low noise modelocked lasers. The progress in new compact SESAM modelocked lasers will be reviewed with applications in biomedical, telecommunications and micromachining field.
